Tiffany and Stephen Oakes' St. Augustine 'Nuptials

The Perfect Chemistry

Tiffany and Stephen Oakes
The Historical Casa Monica Hotel
St. Augustine, FL (The Oldest City)

The gray clouds that hovered for 48 hours over the glooming fall streets of St. Augustine parted ways for these two just hours before they tied the knot. Just in time to shower them with the warm glow of a Floridian Sunset as they walked their last walks as separate entities.

(I'm fighting tears just reminiscing how truly beautiful it was)

I had the pleasure of roaming the misty streets in preparation for the big event... in and out of our bride's room... pulling her outside here and there for a mimosa and a chat... loving on her and the excitement of becoming a wife in just a matter of hours.

Tiffany, as all of my brides are, was a very special one to me. Before her life began states away, I knew her personally here in the sunny state for years before, and we shared very trying times of our lives together. Although it seemed we hadn't spoken in centuries, the day she reached out to me sparked a familiarity I had never expected, and rekindled a friendship that changed me forever.

Before she met her prince, Stephen, Tiffany walked the path of a single mother... consistently challenged with life-altering events that she seemed to hurdle over with such grace. The woman has FAITH, y'all. Undying, uncompromising, unconditional FAITH. Faith in herself, faith in The Father, faith in her daughter, faith in the plan. Her patience and perseverance was undoubtedly what helped pushed the current that carried her straight into Stephen's heart.

Stephen, being the scientist he is, had no trouble concocting a mixture of love, life, and laughter that provided Tiffany and her baby girl just want they needed for the rest of their happy days.

Here are some highlights of the celebration of that "perfect chemistry."

Her Homogeneous Compounds:

Tiffany's most important sidekick-Her daughter Mackenzie. I colored and giggled with this little cupcake for a spell while the girls were getting ready. She was an absolute joy to have around... so well behaved... and I was in awe of the connection she shared with her mommy. They was like peas-n-carrots.

The girls were calm, cool, and collected for Tiff... what every bride needs. Supportive, sweet, silent when need be, and so attentive to their duties. Their laughs were contagious, and I had quite a few with them!

His Homogeneous Compounds:

This little guy said NOT A WORD, but rocked his walk the whole way through. One of the best little ring bearers in all of Worth Wiles history. ATTA BOY!

These guys had jokes for DAYS. Kept a smile on my face from rehearsal to reception. Such intelligent boys, with manners that most men should take notes from! They meshed with the groom so well, it was quite clear why they were chosen to stand tall for him. Loved 'em dearly.

Let me just say... I gained a family on this night. Some of the most genuine individuals I've ever had the pleasure of belting out Whitney Houston and dancing out a conga line with. One of the best, most memorable nights of my life...

...AS THEY ALL ARE! Am I blessed to be doing what I love, or WHAT?!

Congratulations, you two. Come back to The Oldest City soon so that we may have a recap!

LOVE YOU!

Sara and Jason Alverson's Orlando 'Nuptials

THESE two...

Where do I begin?

Sara and Jason share a very special place in my past. Not only did I grow and plan for the future with these two throughout the execution of their wedding, but I grew and planned for the future throughout middle and high school with them, too.

Their love story begins so very long ago, as they have revolved the majority of their days around their love for each other, and of their son, Lucas.

Throughout the ups and downs of life, these two love birds have hung on tightly... working through the trials and errors of not only a solid partnership, but parenthood as well. To be able to have Lucas be a part of their big day warmed my heart, and just goes to show...

...there is NO ORDER to happiness.

I got the pleasure of executing this Golden Chic wedding with not only two great clients, but two great friends.

It must have been a good one, because upon the close of their big day, and the midst of their honeymoon, they were proud to announce the excitement of their second bun in the oven!

Can't wait to meet this little angel, and I couldn't be happier to have been a part of the nuptials and continuation of such a beautiful family!

Here are some of the details our amazing photographer, and my close friend, Krista Rae, was able to capture:

TABLE TWINKLE

These sweet little treats were whipped up by The Cookie Cousins and they were positively DELICIOUS! The couple chose to send their guests home with the collective initial they officially began sharing that special day:

THE GIRLS BY HER SIDE:

These girls held Sara's head high the entire day, and they were just so pleasant to work with. Such sun-shiny little souls, these girls. I enjoyed every moment spent with them!

I am also very proud to announce... I am planning and will be executing THIS beauty's wedding in October! Jenni (Sara's MOH) and her Fiance, Jack, are good friends of Sara and Jason, and I am SO EXCITED to celebrate with all four of them for a second time!

THE GUYS BY HIS SIDE:

Obviously class clowns, these guys had me laughing the whole way through. They were a trip, and undoubtedly the rock that kept Jason standing tall.

ALL TOGETHER NOW!
